I don’t know if I’ve ever mentioned it, I hope I have, but Julie Mayer is my favorite Desperate child of the bunch and I’ve really missed her presence these last few seasons so Andrea being back home on the lane has been a real treat for us all. Julie and I were both 12 when the first season started and I like to think we’ve both grown up together over the years. I hope that in the last episodes we have of Desperate Housewives, we get to see Julie come to lead the rich and fulfilling life she’s always wanted. She’s been through so much and I can only imagine how strong she’ll be standing at the end of it all.

There hasn’t been much about Andrea’s return since I first announced it, but finally it’s time and on February 12th she’s back on Wisteria Lane in a big way. Check out the promo for the next new episode of Desperate Housewives.

With Desperate Housewives inching closer to its series finale this May, the show is welcoming back three of its most popular graduates: Dana Delany (Katherine), Kyle MacLachlan (Orson) and Andrea Bowen (Julie).
The length and timing of the trio’s comeback stints are not known. (ABC declined to comment.)
After Housewives set its May 2012 finale date over the summer, showrunner Bob Daily made it his mission to lure back as many of the show’s alums as possible — beginning with Delany (who’s currently headlining ABC’s Body of Proof, which is nearing the end of its 13-episode second season).

I’ve started to get caught up on the season one captures of Desperate Housewives. I’m still waiting to find out when Andrea will be guest starring on Hawaii Five-O but when I find out I will let you know!
Andrea was back on last night’s all new Desperate Housewives and it was so nice to see her come home. I know there’s been so little Andrea news lately but hopefully with 2011 just starting there will be a whole lot more.

It looks like our favorite teenager is returning to Wisteria Lane! Andrea Bowen returns to Desperate Housewives on January 9th you’ve heard it here first. We’ve got the stills and it looks like Julie has gone back to her blond roots and is going to see her mom after last Sunday’s rioting 2010 finale. Andrea has been super quiet lately but with Preacher’s Daughter and now this latest episode, it looks like we’ll still have a lot of her on our screens in the next while.
The flick follows Jenna (Bowen), a competitive horse rider who is left paralyzed and her equestrian dreams shattered. She joins a physical therapy program as part of a clinical trial study but she’s hesitant to start the program. Wheelchair bound, Jenna’s life completely changes as she starts, her old friends and boyfriend disappear and lonely and frustrated, Jenna comes close to giving up. With the help of her new found friends and next door neighbor, ex-rodeo cowboy Will Dutton (Malambri), she finds inspiration to try and walk and ride again.
If any of you are able to see the movie let me know how it was, sadly I do not have the Hallmark channel.
