In addition to acting, Bowen is a strong supporter for sun safety and skin cancer prevention efforts. Bowen says that the shirts not only carry a message about sun protection, they can protect from the damaging effects of the sun and still allow you to stay fashionable. “These are not just message or logo shirts. They’re flattering on you and they block the UV rays that usually get through normal tops,” she said.

Andrea Bowen of ABC’s “Desperate Housewives” and Kathryn Morris of CBS’s “Cold Case” will be spokespersons for a new UV-Protective t-shirt line being launched by the Sun Safety Alliance (SSA), in collaboration with the Entertainment Industries Council, Inc. (EIC). SSA has teamed up with AYANA Apparel to provide fashion-forward UV-Protective t-shirts that protect your skin while maintaining your sense of style. Proceeds from this t-shirt line will be donated to SSA for educational programs to promote skin cancer prevention (using code SSA09).

Wisteria Lane is welcoming back one of its own this fall: Original Desperate Housewives star Andrea Bowen has signed on to reprise her role as Susan’s eldest spawn, Julie.
Although ABC would only confirm that Bowen is set to appear in the Sept. 27 season premiere, a Housewives insider tells that the actress is returning as a series regular.
Bowen vanished from Housewives at the end of season 4, a casualty of the show’s four-year flash forward. She briefly returned last season when Julie, on break from college, announced that she was dating her 40-year-old professor Lloyd (Steven Weber). It’s not clear if he’ll be accompanying her back home, but I’m guessing not.

As well as 13 “Girl, Positive” (2007) promotionals in MQ. I’m hoping to start getting caps from Desperate Housewives into the gallery over the next few days, and just a reminder I leave for vacation on the 17th.
Greetings gang. Lucky for me my computer is back and fully functional. I can start working full force for the next little while until I leave for California.
I’ve updated the gallery again, this time with the screencaps from Andie’s guest spot on Without a Trace and Ghost Whisperer. GW is only half finished however, as there is well over 600 files to add.
The Desperate Housewives promotionals for the first three seasons can be found, as well as a new photo shoot and multiple public appearances.
While I still can’t do much on the site work at the moment, I have had a few spare minutes to add some photos to the gallery. Two photoshoots, screencaptures of Andie’s appearance on “One Tree Hill”, and a number of 2009 and 2004 events.
Sorry for the lack of updates / site work gang, my personal computer has just crashed and it may be a few days before I get back up and running.

It’s been a long road since Andrea Bowen Online graced the road, and I was going to continue on with that site after adopting it from Cheyne and Josh, but instead decided to start anew. A brand new start with new friends, and old. I’d like to say a warm welcome back, to everyone who was apart of the old website, those who came back to start anew and help us work back to where it was.
We are still working hard to get the gallery filled, please continue to check back and register so you can see the images from the 2004 onwards. Andie is still a very busy girl, and with her coming back to Desperate Housewives this year we can only hope for tons of news and scoop to post.
